    ... There were a lot of people around - some just walking around sightseeing, but a few groups of men who were possibly there for a reason. Paul then went off to catch his train, and Deb and I went back to our room.

    Late night for both of us tonight - even after midnight!

    Last sleep before the long plane trip, and might even be the last blog for this trip. Not sure what we are doing tomorrow yet. Our flight is not until around 9.30pm so we have all day here first.

    We have just boarded our cruise ship , the Emerald Star. It meets all expectations thus far. Joy is unpacking her things so, to avoid our getting in each other's way, I'm blogging.     If I could go on a shopping spree anywhere in Europe, it would be in the many grocery stores, cheese and specialty shops of Amsterdam. I like Dutch food a lot; the Stroopwafels are surprisingly delicious, and I can smell them being made as I walk down Rozengraacht.
