... palace owned by some obscenely rich royal or noble, it has it's own church complete with frescoes painted long ago and a total of 10 pews in two rows.

To cap of the beauty of Chateau Porro Pirelli, Hotel Varese, the whole place is blanketed in pure white, thick snow, that, until we arrived, was devoid of footprints.. it's the stuff that dreams are made of. Just leave me here, I'll survive, really!

... were not able to see George Clooneys house b/c it sits way back off the lake. guess he isnt quite THAT rich or famous.
tonight we are staying at the airport in Milan but we will not see any of the city since the airport is a full 85km from the city center.
words cannot accurately express our feeling about this trip. pictures say it better and i can only upload a few.

... onto Emirates to do the online check in thing.... it keeps coming up with..... can't complete must be between 24 hours and 90 minutes prior to flight.....what the.....I keep saying..... with no sleep, a still throbbing arm I was not impressed.
