Island Hopping in Venice
... had has going around the main section and glimpsing the north coast, it ended up being an unnecessary hour of travel, so if you can figure out for F de Nuove is, you'll save quite a bit of time.
My first stop was Murano (though I suggest you check out Burano first, especially on a weekend). Glass galleries and workshops take over the parts of Murano that tourists visit. There didn't seem to be much else otherwise as most of the restaurants ...
Venice Wandering
... Fizzy and served chill, a great deal at 2.20 euro and another Italian item we tried. Then we splurged a bit on lunch, eating at a restaurant with tables outside overlooking the Grand Canal. Lost on the Streets of Venice
... amazing, and full of historical charm that you can only feel in a few of the worlds' cities. Venice is old, dilapidated, and crumbling, and it doesn't try to hide it - that is what makes it beautiful. I knew I was falling in love the moment we stepped out of the train station and onto Grand Canal. Venice really is exactly how it is portrayed in the movies.
During our days we literally spent our time aimlessly wandering the narrow streets of Venice. The pictures ...
