... which streets led us to home, but asked lots of questions and did find our hotel without too many false turns.

Our evening had been planned in Denver-attending opening night at the State Opera House. The theater was full of red velvet, chandeliers, gold leaf, and ceiling paintings. We saw and heard La Traviatta, thoroughly enjoying the music and being part of the opera experience.

... Unfortunately, it was pretty underwhelming in my opinion. There were LOTS of people, but the venues were not anything special. Our last stop was at a 5 floor club (each floor with different type of music) that included an ice bar. The ice bar isn't as cool as the pictures online (as any traveler should know). We were shortly met with what I can only imagine to be "comfort food" to the locals, who were enjoying 3 course meals around us (lunch is supposedly the most important meal of the day there) whilst we pushed our goulash and hard boiled potatoes around our plates, trying our best to appear inconspicuous. I like to think we got into the spirit ...

... sausage and now the duck twice. Yes.

Bellies full we headed back to the hotel via the shops where we got the little man a present for being so good on the tour. Welcome pokemon the card game. Bec stayed on to further boost the Prague economy and Oli and I went home for a game.

All back together now we hit the streets again for our next eatery. Just a light meal as we had such a big lunch and an early night.
