... tour of some of the city sights. We took a walk outside to find something to eat - walked to the 'old quarter' of town. Really picturesque, historic and amazing architecture all around. We found a cafe to have some dinner and just sat and enjoyed watching the people go by and the surrounding buildings. ... his statue had to be removed sharpish. So two guards were sent to the roof, only once there, they realised they were not quite au fait with concert composers and didn't know which statue to remove. So in true German fashion, they took out a ruler, measured all the noses of the statues to check which one was of Jewish length, and promptly removed Wagner, Hitler's favourite composer. Doh!

... featuring treasures that have belonged to the family for generations. Some examples include priceless artwork, some of the finest weaponry ever made, and even original musical compositions by Beethoven and Mozart. The story of how the family managed to save these treasures was so interesting. We left Lobkowicz Palace for dinner at the Zofin Palace Garden restaurant. After dinner we went back to our hotel for apple strudel and vanilla ice cream.

... Gothic, Baroque, even Art Deco (an amazing painted glass window by Alfons Mucha!). The tomb of Jan Nepomuk, a Czech martyr from the 15th century, the relics of St. Vitus of Sicily, and the chapel of St. Wenceslas were all very neat, but hands down, the best part was the super-creepy but very cool crypt.
