... We walked all the way along until we got to the Information located near a nice park and the huge Sun Life Building. Day 24 - Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Oh joy. On the road again. We made our way up the Canadian Highway to Quebec. My high school French is rusty (well it has been over 40 years) but the street signs usually have both English & French and most people speak both. So, I'm getting along. Final Thoughts
Overall I thought Montreal was a good trip. Here are a few final thoughts:
- Montreal is stuck in the late 80's/early 90's and it's quite refreshing! One of the things that struck me were the existence of pay phones and mailboxes! And there were a lot of them. I would see one mailbox, turn the corner on the block and see another mailbox! You do see locals with cell phones but not as abundant as the US. I guess Canadian telecomms ...
