    ... the GPS says it is only another 750 metres to the main road. THEN I made a tactical error and drove past a turn around point. At this point the cobblestones had given way to broken stones and road had been badly eroded....the further I went, the worse the road became.

    Then I saw my chosen option disappear as the road became almost vertical and broken, washed away rocks ....we have to reverse maybe 500m back down. ...
