    ... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. Afterwards we headed back into the retail district for a spot of shopping before mixing it with the rush hour traffic on the trip back past Lago di Como to Morbegno.

    Well, our week in Milano has come to an end! We had a great time. Toured a few sights. Had a great weekend. Enjoyed the F1 race at Monza. Our accommodation was very close to the Milano Centrale Stn so, we opted to pull our luggage to the station. Didn't see too many taxi's to flag down and probably would've taken longer to attract one then to just walk the few blocks. The Centale station is large but over the week, we've gotten to know it very well! Arriving here from the airport ...

    The other night all of us working at the restaurant went and slept in a cabin near the top of the mountain that was half buried in snow. It was the quintessential mountain hut, without hot water we boiled large pots of water on the wood fired stove and the walls were covered in taxidermy animals, the heads of deer, stuffed owls and even a beaver.
