... sellers were doing a roaring trade. You could also buy a cloak to cover yourself from the ticket seller. One lady in particular was hilarious. She had on a dress, just a drawstring wasted thing, with full sleeves, and came to about mid-thigh. I didn't think she looked too bad, but the door police were having none of it... and she kept pulling the dress down to try and reach the two finger limit. At one stage there she actually bent her back down so she was ...

The public transport system is good and Liv is pretty good at figuring it out so we just let her tell us what train/tram to hop on and when to get off. Her time in London has been good for teaching her how it all works. Our apartment is great, nice polished wood floors and plenty of space with lots of windows opening onto decks on both sides of the concrete jungle. We are in the 7th floor but the view is just into ...

    ... shop.

Our 3rd and final day was Oli's 10th birthday. It started with his favourite bacon and eggs for breakfast, a quick run around the park, some Burger King for lunch, more park time in the afternoon and a quick visit to the Duomo, then a late afternoon movie. The big treat for the day was a visit to Luna Park which for some reason has the interesting opening hours of 8.45pm - Midnight. It makes a bit more sense in summer, but quite odd in winter. The big upside of this ...
