    First stop – Milan. A trouble free flight from Melbourne via Doha (Qatar) brings us to Italy's 2nd largest city – much of which was destroyed by Allied bombing in WWII.     Jermaine and I rose before the sun that morning and did our final checks to ensure we had all of our luggage and gear packed. We woke Ben (as he had requested we do so) and said our final goodbyes and crept out the door and dropped our key off at the hostel reception.
