      Conor had a connection at the USOC (United States Olympic Training Center), who is good professional friends with a man who works in sports technology for AC Milan, Lukka. The football (soccer :)) team is way ahead in utilization of technology to enhance their players abilities and help prevent injuries.       Museum at Academia for a bit of culture- lots of painting of last supper that were rescued(?) from churches in town. Some really old 14c stuff and some more recent restored items. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

If you ever travel in Italy, watch the Trenitalia web site about 90 days out, and jump on the super economy fares when these are posted. Then select the business class ticket. You get the price you would pay later for the economy ticket. You won't regret the bump up to biz class.

      ... it was and how long it might take for the tickets to be express posted to us. On arrival to our hotel in Milan, the tickets were found in Peter's bag, still in their envelope ! Phew!! Our hotel room was the size of a cupboard under the stairs, complete with the sloping ceiling! It was clean and tidy, so it was ok for one nigh!
