Knorrepot
Knorrepot, eigenlijk was haar naam Snulletje, maar dat vond ik zo'n denigrerende naam dat ik haar knorrepot noemde. Dit kwam vooral door het feit dat ze ook zo gemakkelijk knorde. Een heel lieve poes.
Nadien hoorde ik dat ze ergens anders gezet was omdat ze binnen begon te plassen. Jammer, maar helaas.

Cara, de hond
... het mee eens. In het begin was het voor iedereen moeilijk. Ook voor Cara, maar ja ... uiteindelijk is ze wel afgevallen en bewoog ze iets meer. Niet dat ze onmiddellijk lange wandelingen zou doen, maar het ging toch al beter. Hopelijk kan iedereen het volhouden.
Wat mij ook aan haar opviel was, dat ze heel veel katten manieren had. Dat had ik nog niet zo dikwijls ...

I studied the train map and departures times with my giant backpack on and Euro shoulder bag (hey don't make fun....Indiana Jones has one!) when I realized I had no idea how read the map. Europe apparently has two or four times as many train platforms as the US and Canada combined and I was somewhere in the middle! Chocolate, beer and lace
... shop and there were a few lace stores too So we went into at least 4 or 5 chocolate shops, and picked up some treats to consume over the next day or so (in the end they only lasted the evening). We found some absolutely delicious macaroons which come close to be giving the title as our favourite ones. Once we arrived back at the hotel, we retired for the night to prepare for the next day ahead.

... and a leetle Spanish"). In short we felt we saw the city, and after another late night with Thierry, lacking only our fiasco of a walk home, we knew that our last day wouldn't be much more than short walk around the city and a cab out to our airport hotel.
A final observation about Belgium before the journey home is that this must be the only place on earth where Michael Jackson, doesn't seem to be as well known as Michael Jackson.
