          ... on the way home gives us delicious parmigiana with melanzano in chilied oil or roast pork panini... The evening was spent at a nearby village for drinks after which we had yet another feast at our agritourismo. We are sorry to say goodbye to hosts Giana, Antonio and special Elena who all cared for us as though we were family. The ravioli was superb!! ...we have now added Rigoli pasta from Pola's ...

          ... while. The GPS has worked pretty well but got its knickers in a twist over the one way system in Bracciano, which is where we became separated.
          We finished the day in the charming hilltop town of Montefiascone - the only thing not quite so charming was the climb up to the place - the clue is in the name! At least the first bit tomorrow will be downhill!

          Went to Bomarzo yesterday to go to the monster garden, where there are stautes that were carved from voclanic rock in the 1500's. It was expensive to get in and the statues weren't all that impressive.
