Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

... I must have the attention span of a gnat sadly...as when I look down I when I missed a turn would see a simple message...off route re-calculate???? Those usually mean time for me to get creative...ie figure out ways to cross the dividers on the autobahn to do a u-turn....like the gap between cement barriers that just fit a bike.....long story short...holy **** was I not paying attention that morning. I ended up going back and forth on the autobahn....till I finally ...

... in time to see the GP3 race, followed by the GP2 cars. Crazy that the GP2s were so much louder than the now strangely quiet turbo F1s.

The Porsche cup cars then had their race, resembling a demolition derby with cars off left right and centre in front of us. Maybe the most exciting race of the day!

After Andy had downed a Belgian waffle and a hamburger, and I'd eaten some hot chips and a filter coffee (!), the F1s were on. We had high hopes ...

... had a long chat with him. Post race, met several Aussies (From Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide) and celebrated for a while before joining the traffic chaos. Up and at 'Em, I was SO pleased to finally see a queue for the MEN'S bathrooms and showers for a change and empty women's facilities!!

A nice hot shower, dressed ready for a day at the GP with the sun shining and feeling hopeful for Daniel Ricciardo to qualify well for the race on Sunday.
