... That's about it. We lunched on the balcony, walked around the town, had some drinks overlooking the harbour and enjoyed dinner on the edge of the water.
As I write our bags are nearly packed and tomorrow we drive to Rome to drop off our car. We have 2 nights at the beach near the airport and then 4 nights in Bangkok before our flight to Sydney.
Took a couple videos-pictures really couldn't capture it. Shows each location on the grounds after it was used/when empty. We got there and hung in the front lawn, then moved to the courtyard and back lawn for appetizers. They were carving prosciutto for us... I have found the perfect wine. More later. Although he didnt manage to fix the original issue with Lily and those pesky lights, he did diagnose that he things the issue might be to do with the dodgy indicator stalk. I havent been able to indicate left since I think Denmark, as it is totally siezed. He freed this up, but explained ...
... looked after by the wonderfully accommodating Riccardo. Sitting under the Medieval arches, here was great food and some excellent Soave and Valpolicello Ripasso to wash it all down. The kind of style befitting a birthday. This was the first birthday celebration for many years away from our great friends and fantastic family, so it felt a little strange. ... the lake. From there we drove down the western edge of the water, through some incredibly beautiful scenery, before crossing the mountain range and down into Garda. The mountain road was almost impossibly narrow in places. A nerve tingling, yet spectacular drive, of tight bends with sheer drops off the edge of the road. But hey, we've driven the Amalfi Coast road ... so non c'e problema ... We did reward ...
