... guy just disappears, when the good guy turns back again the bad guy gets closer etc etc... children are yelling and shouting to warn the good guy, and I love it!

The weather was so-so, there was sun but at night we had this storm with lightning, very impressive! Sill, much more enjoyable than Venice, where really there were too many people. Bergamo, like Bressanone, two lovely little cities where I surely will go back!

... it really was picture postcard stuff. It was a little bit tainted however by what we saw slightly further down the lakes edge when we went for a walk. Outside one of the cafe's, in the flow of their outlet pipes, were 5 dead rats bobbing in the water, bloated by all the water that had seeped into their bodies. In a way it was lucky we saw them when we did as it helped us make our decision about a) swimming in the lake and b) eating in that restaurant. ...

... is known as Citta Alta. The Citta Alta is a medieval town and is packed with historic buildings and narrow cobbled streets and surrounded by Venetian walls which date back to the 17th century. One of the problems we encountered was finding parking. We were not able to take our car into the Citta Alta and had to find parking in the lower city. We then took the funicular to the upper city.
