We spent the day on a walking tour exploring Ghent. I am quite certain that if I just went to Ghent on a random holiday I'd be impressed. But, after the color and life and beauty of Brugge, Ghent kind of paled by comparison. ... I guess one side gets more sun…..who knows?? I had to keep biking until I came to a bridge to cross over. By this time I had left Brugge and was riding in the country side – it was fantastic!! Cows on the left of me, rowers on the right in the river….and cyclists up my ass! I wasn’t going as fast as their road bikes!!!

Besides....I was searching for poppies!! Haha.

We woke up this morning and packed our things before heading down to the hostels bar, where we met our Venezuelan friends from the other night.
