    ... that this is THE train! Michael and I are standing in the area in the inbetween carriage area when an Italian guy overhearing our "man we hope this is the train" comment says that he is from Stresa and that it's the right train but we must get off at another station to change trains. phew! lucky for us we stated chatting.

    ... and then an afternoon in Verona Hospital...he goes home with his gall bladder in tact but I'm not sure he will be able to maintain the alcohol free, fat free ..lettuce / carrot diet for long.

    ... and we were treated to pasta fritta and some more delicious red wine while 20 of her friends chatted to us in pretty impressive English. We woke up the following day with a slightly sore head and were treated to an amazing tour of Florence including all its beautiful piazzas, then up to get a cityscape on one of the hills, then home via some delicious gelato and a relaxing snooze in the park.
