    ... The next place we were going was the desert, so we all got back in the 4x4 and headed there. Had a quick stop first to get water.
    It took about 20 minutes to get to the desert, that was after we got passed a guy that had got bogged down in the sand. In the end we went round him! The sand track was very bouncy, I asked the guide if they break them a lot, he said there’s a repair company that surveys pretty much on the repairs to their cars!

    I know Jetstar is low cost but are they that unconcerned about their customers that they let them get soaked running across the tarmac and up the stairs in the pouring rain? Obviously yes, because that's what we did, but I have to say I was surprised as it was very unsafe. Jacqs got given a handful of paper towels as she came in the door to help dry her off. Nice.

    ... Went for a little walk through the streets and ended up at Woolworths getting tea for the night.
    We were quite knackered so went back to the hostel and sat in the Tv room again, ended up watching some films.

    Made tea of pasta and garlic bread then went back to the Tv room for a little while. Then we went to sort things out and have showers.

    ... one Get one Free family :). We are going to miss them all loads they have been such lovely and fun people!!! I also had a lovely surprise when a couple of Wirral squirrels turned up in Brisbane so that was amaaaazing to meet up and have a couple of drinks with them!!! :) Christmas Eve came around quickly, all the Specsavers gang all worked the whole festive period so on Christmas Eve, we finished our shifts and all the women went sent to do the festive food shop.
