    ... Then a good walk across the Story bridge and onto the River walk and onto Newfarm. In Newfarm park there was a celebration which we found out to be ' the Italian day'. The bandstand was being used - wow had not seen that and the youth orchestra and singers were great. We sat and listened to the last 4 items.     ... at the Brisbane Powerhouse. Originally it actually was a power generating station for the riverside warehouse district but it is now a theater venue set amongst parklands and warehouse condo conversions. A very beautiful area. We saw Hannah Gadsby and Chris Wainwright. Chris was definitely the better of the two.
