... bars, restaurants and public space in the heart of the city. Brisbane has just recovered from its worst storm in thirty years and with the rain beating down we did the only thing we could: ordered a gin. We were certain of our indifference towards Brisbane, like the Sheffield of Australia. We would be moving on early, again and hoping for sun.

In the morning I had all my things packed and ready to go, I said goodbye to all the new friends I had made. They greeted me with such sadness, this place really does take a place of your heart.

And show them they hadn't invited total weirdos into their home!! The following day we were up early and headed to the Gold Coast, Erin had a cheeky trick of parking under this beautiful 5* ...

Waking up today I felt kind of sad, knowing I was going to leave such a beautiful country. I double checked to make sure everything was packed and then I checked out of my hotel. I thanked the staff for their service and told them I would give them an excellent rating for everything they've done.

I made my way to the airport, got my luggage checked in and collected my boarding pass - three hours ...
