    True to form, and as there was no walking tour that I could find, I decided to explore Brisbane by myself on foot.     ... 8211; so mostly likely a crook as well J ). It must have had 60-70 costumes complete with photographs of the actors and actresses in the costumes. Some displays had clips of the movies where the actors were actually wearing the costumes. They were from the Golden age of cinema (pre 1960’s) and I was surprised about the number of the actors and movies Bill knew (he blamed his mother and Sunday afternoon family movie day).

    ... crickets. After a relax in the sunshine, I carried on down the river until I got to a 'city cat' stop - Brisbane's river bus. I took the 15 minute boat ride back up the river, getting off on the other side - South Bank. South Bank is definitely the most touristy part of the city I saw.     ... section only to be redirected by a loud woman shouting "go to the next security it's only 5 mins" ...yeah right! if you were on airport shuttle :-/ so we proceeded to walk..walk...interspersed with a little run towards security....Through! - NO! the alarm goes off and I tell 'them this bracelet does not come off' - so I'm ushered into a small adjacent room with local female security and a metal detector - my bracelet alarms ...

    ... for dinner and I ended up with a sandwich purchased from IGA. Went down to James St. looking for a shop that sells Aussiebum merchandise but it is no longer there, as expected. Kinda found that out on Facebook but wanted to confirm it. Looks like I got to get it online. James St. is quite a happening place though. There are some bars located there and there are a lot of people patronising them, the street itself is lined with quaint shops and seems like a nice place to hand ...
