... and there's just a big ball of light entering bouncing off all the rocks and trees at the entrance. I couldn't quite get a photo to get enough in but you can take a look anyway. But it's amazing. So I got chatting with the Aussie women and girls and they offered me a lift home. ... made out of ironwood which is very strong as although our blowpipe was only a couple of metres, they can reach up to 50 feet! The women Ibans are traditionally weavers. I asked one lady how long it takes her to weave a basket and she chuckled saying that it would take a young lady a few days but she is an old lady and has other jobs to do and so it would probably take her a few weeks to finish it.

... really annoyed our guide, who initially threw a stone at the crab so it released the baby turtle, then decided to chuck it some distance into the sea. The baby turtles are meant to head automatically into the nearest sea as soon as they hatched, but no one told these little buggers that! They were moving in any direction other than the one they were "instinctively" meant to go in


Eventually the only way to get some of the more troublesome stragglers into ...
