New Delhi, Delhi, India shalinijaitly... so not much to report there really.
Today we went to use the internet where we met a really nice tuk tuk driver called Bill. He drove us to the Government tourist office and we have booked a tour of Rajastan, starting tomorrow. We’re hoping it will take away a lot of the hassle of travelling in India, as we have already experienced a small portion of the hassle we will get from tuk tuk drivers, rickshaw drivers, restaurants and hotels and it’s not fun. Here’s hoping!
... in comes out immediately.
Me- crying for Tso-Morriri & Tso-Kar, but can not wake up early.
Angchok- New mechanic & true hero of this round. Super innocent, super helping, has as cool hindi as is ours Laddakhi.
The road is smoother, the turns deadlier & blinder, the slope is just less than vertical (kabhi +, kabhi -) & the riders become speedier. It’s nothing but bike-mania. Angchok sitting behind me keeps on telling me something, I keep on ...

Delhi, India zameensandeepWell, obviously we have been home for a while now, we got home on December 5th. We left in such a hurry, that I didn't have time to finish up the last of our adventures in India. Don't worry I didn't forget! School here at Davis takes a lot more time up than I remembered. In India I didn't have to go to class so I didn't mind writing, now I have to write all the time; my brain is tired! Way back in August, if you can remember that far back, we ...

New Delhi, India fazi... I was a white women traveling alone (shocking in a Muslim country). New Delhi My first stop in India was in New Delhi. This city is absolute madness. It is one of the largest cities in the country and is a real shocker to the senses. Everywhere you look you see devastating poverty, malnutrition, deformity, cows wondering all over the streets (because there a sacred animal in Hindu) and the smells are horrendous. I immediately made ...
New delhi, India cgibsonwsuOctober 2, 04 Greetings from Delhi! This is a hot and crowded city. I am staying near the train station right in the middle of the main bazaar. Besides being hot and crowded, Delhi has a distinct odor. When I got to the airport late at night, it smelled like something was burning. It still smells that way, and you can see the layers of smoke and smog over the city. Delhi has a lot to offer, but it will be nice to get out in the country. On my first full day in the city I did a ...
