The plan for today was some preparation for Sue's birthday party here on Sunday afternoon. Sue's son Stuart came and helped put up 2 borrowed gazebos in the garden and set up tables in the conservatory. He was here for morning tea and a relaxing lunch. Did someone mention golf? At the Cleeve Hill Golf Club walkers get right of way. The course is littered with walkers as numerous trails cross here and there are heaps of walkers, dog walkers and trail bike riders and the few golfers are certainly outnumbered.

Our English odyssey (and that's not easy to spell) begins.
