Far too many bottles of wine later it was 1.00am and with no more world issues that needed solving we hit the sack, knowing there was probably going to be a sore head or two the next day.
Our stay in the United Kingdom this time is only about five days. We had travelled fairly extensively throughout the British Isles on our last trip and we always had planned to head South. The few days here were really only for getting over jet lag and for playing golf. Having done that, we hit the road to head to Birmingham and our flights to Spain.

We had a kind of symmetry to the trip. We started the trip with a dinner at One Elm when we got to Stratford and we ended the trip tonight with dinner there again. I had pork fillet wrqpped in Parma ham with potatoes dauphinais. Barb had herb pancakes with sage stuffing and chicken. We shared roast carrots and parsnips.
