No whales in hermanus!

But we had a lovely walk nice lunch and an indiean take away what more did we need oh and a really lovely room sea veiw! very relaxing was nice. we didn't think much of the town but am sure if there had been whales we wouldn't have spent as much time in the town!

On Sunday we drove to Villiersdorp to visit Ben's 87 year old Grandad and family. We had an amazingf fish soup and white fish for lunch. The best home cooked meal we'd had for a while.

We later went to Blue Peter for sundowners and saw the most amazing sunset! We then went to Ons Huisie and had fish and chips! ...

... and on our last weekend there, with Alastair, Tamsin, Callum and Kelsey who stayed over from Fishoek for the weekend. A lovely last family get together for quite a while which sadly Mark, Melanie, Amelia, Charlotte & Elodie back in UK would not be involved in too.

I didn’t really see anything at this point and was more concerned about the boat tipping so far over it felt like we would all be in the ocean!! ... but somehow two months in Africa had done more to ready me for the experience than all those years since my breakdown in the library. Go figure.
The thing with these extreme activities, I've found, is that once you start... you can't stop.

We went with a looovely American couple, Katie and Chris, that we'd met on our overland tour when we all decided to bungee jump. Apparently friends that jump together, stay together. A van picked us up at 8:00 am ...
