... what it was like in the big cities money wise so thank you to them, a very friendly start to Canada's capital.
Sunday 6th November
We set the alarm for 7 which is probably the earliest we have been up since arriving in Canada, there was a good reason for it though - free breakfast! We had fruit salad, homemade scones and omelettes which were great, as was the tea from an actual teapot - how English.

... goodies bought and Kristina’s purchase of cushions for her parents via the marvel that is mobile phones, email, and good old pictures, we headed back into the city so I could finally explore the Glebe Centre and Kristina and Adam could prepare for their night of revelry. The Capital of Canada
... which a topping of your choice. I opted for cinnamon and sugar, definitely a tactical choice as those who chose chocolate or maple butter ended up with it all over their faces!
We drove out of the city on Sussex Drive, the address of the Prime Minister, Governor General and many of the embassies, returning to Montréal at 8pm.
I got back feeling like I'd just seen somewhere really special. Ottawa, as it stands, is definitely top of my list of Canadian cities où j'aimerais ...
What a wa?
... I love to eat and I love markets! Le Moulin de Provence Bakery is divine! Fresh back breads, desserts and prepared foods make this place a true gem. YUM!
In the evening we headed to the Casino du Lac-Leamy for their end of the season fireworks finale. It blew our DC 4th of July fireworks out of the water! The air was just right for the night canvas, the lights in the sky were massive explosions and they went off!!
