... Jill and her dad Brian are suffering with the same symptoms. We have our fingers crossed that Barbara has not caught the bug. Paul cooked dinner tonight, and she could barely keep her eyes open long enough to eat anything,.

My time on the motorway was not entirely spent thinking - I crocheted 4 potholders today!

And now I think I'll stop thinking for a while and watch some British comedy shows.

... for the big Manor House which stands there. Once housing the Lord of the Manor who would have been a Sir or Earl or something and owned most of the land around here. Barbara's father was a chauffer employed at the Manor for years starting probably in the early 1900s. I am going to try to do some research to see who was in residence at that time and see if I can find a list of staff.

... how/when it was built. Joe and I even climbed all the twisty steps to the dome for a bird's eye view of the city. We've thus far been blessed with excellent weather - blue skies, sunny - some clouds and warm. After visiting St. Paul's and even staying for Evensong, we headed across the Millennium Bridge and walked the South Bank to the London Eye... Which only the guys were brave enough to ...

The rest of our trip will almost seem like an anti-climax, as we ended up achieving some of our aims. Anyway, we are off to Shrewsbury, of which we don’t know much, then Gloucester, to finish in London. Our trip is heading to a climax and we have experienced the emotional highs of visiting our ancestral homes.

... extremely difficult time for Lynsay though, with a very long labour ending in a C-section so visiting will be delayed to a later date. Can't wait to meet her!

Thursday evening we catch our final train of the mega trip, getting Home to a spotless house and a made bed, thanks to Katrina, and a couple of very excited cats......there are some cuddles to catch up on! And that's it..........finale of the mega trip and it has truly been a mega ...
