... and of course trying them out. Yesterday I finally got my backpack after looking at loads for the past couple of weeks. I half filled it and went walking up the fields. Today Mum, Amy and I went clothes shopping and I filled my backpack properly, it was a bit touch and go for a while whether it was going to fit or not!!! It was only 16kg though which isn't too bad.

The week-end was busy too what with ordering touring shoes for the teenagers. All we need now is a bike for the 2nd teenager and we can go ..... oh and somewhere to sleep when we're there but, that's a work in progress.
