        ... bar area where there are tables and a smaller bar to sit at and watch the TV. They each got a beer and I got a Cuban Shandy which had beer, lime and something else in it. It was very good. After the first half, I left because sitting on the stool was bothering my shoulder. I have tendinitis in it. So I left and stopped at a couple of shops that were open.         ... is unlike any we have ever done before. Erin has done it before. It is down a steep hill with goats on it to keep the grass "mowed." The greens were real greens with a rough. They were hilly and had water hazards and sand traps. It was a lot of fun. Derek did pretty well and beat all of us by 5 strokes. He beat me by a lot more. I think I was there for comic relief.         Hard to believe that one week from now will find us boarding a plane in Vancouver, B.C, where we'll fly overnight to Heathrow, arriving Monday afternoon. We're hoping to knock ourselves out on the flight with ZzzQuil, so we can wake feeling refreshed enough to enjoy our first stop - Avebury - on the way to our lodging for the first night.

        So smoky due to the fires! We just wanted to get some air, finding the fresh stuff just south of the US/Canadian border.
