... a big upset- after looking through the case of passports we realised, with great fear and terror, that Nics passport was missing. Te only one to disappear we thought for sure it was hone forever. We had been made to give them to the captain before boarding, but felt sick at the thought of embassy appointments, police reports and travel delays. Scooter, one of the lifeguard group on board, made Nic a paper towel version, but this was not needed as the passport was ...

In our room 204 we even had part of the original Palace walls exposed and we had a view overlooking the Peristil. We had a delicious entree of grilled Calamari/squid at one of the restaurants on the Promenade and then went to one of the restaurants within the Dioclecetian's Palace walls to have some Pizza and Pasta. ...

... the easiest place to find but once there it is the perfect location. Our room however was not ideal as we were right next to the kitchen so I was kept awake by the clattering for both the dinner and breakfast shift. Once checked in we went to find some dinner. Diocletian's Palace is the perfect place to wander around and stumble upon somewhere to eat as every street and square no matter how small or narrow ...

Our second day in Croatia started a little slowly as we both had had a little too much fun the previous evening, but by the time the sun was high in the sky we were out grabbing some breakfast on the harbor terrace. The plan was too go sea kayaking in the early afternoon, grab some grub and then get on the overnight ferry to Ancona, Italy. Well it turned out that the sea was too rough to go kayaking, even though it was 70 and sunny (must have been ...
