Another beautiful day in fake Alaska!! We docked early again and got off the ship after a room service breakfast. First, we took Mt. Roberts tramway for a cable car ride to the top. Wonderful views on a clear day like we had. Took lots of photos of the ship and hiked around for a bit before heading back into town for an early lunch. We had Mexican food which was meh. ... Connor and Tere and they were from Vancouver Canada. They were on a backpacking trip through Alaska for a month or so! ... out with them after hours. How do people do this? We went back to Karaoke, where they were greeted like Norm from Cheers. After Karaoke, we went to the lounge singer, who apologized for being so snotty last night and then stayed after hours singing songs she likes, and did a terrific rendition of MJ’s Billy Jean! This was the place to be for all the cool crew who were now BFFs with the Australians.

This time I exchanged room numbers with them so we can hang out again later. ...
