Afterward, I talked with Evelyn, who was on the prayer list some time in the past year or so, but who is doing a lot better now. ... I am surprised that none of the hymns sung at the Feast have been, or will be, "Seek Ye First" on page 100 of our hymnal. I will either request it tonight or offer to play it if I feel brave. Heidi is going to offer to play some hymns also; she can play just about any hymn in our hymnal if she can practice it a bit first. The Hymn-Sing will be followed by a dessert reception - Yum!

... that they were created at the same time as all the other animals. It was a great way to spend a rainy day, anyway.

Today being Family Day, the children's choir got to sing. I enjoyed helping out with this, and they did a great job. They are always so cute! There were only six children participating, but the children got more individualized attention that way.

... at AC (graduated from Big Sandy with me in 1992). He spent his first two years at Pasadena. Turns out, he is ushering with Martin this Feast.

Well, I'm getting tired, so I will upload some pictures on here and then go to bed soon, since I tend to wake up early. Tomorrow we have 10 am services. It is so nice just walking downstairs to services at the Feast!

We left our house just before 9 am on the Sabbath (26th) and drove to the Knoxville UCG congregation. It was easy to find the location, a high quality conference center with various different rooms,often apparently used for weddings, etc. Mr. Stan Martin, the pastor, was already in Jekyll Island, since he coordinates the Feast there this year.

Lacy & Frances Mayes were there, and later, Barbara & Madalene arrived. They had already ...
