... dinner :) Ken had a blue Hawaiian hahah and it was epiccc! I had a gingerbread smoothie which was in a lot up cup that made me want to have a fit every time I looked at it so I had to turn the light off of it hahah. Food was very yum I had a lot of shrimp hahahah! And then we caught the shuttle back...and crashed at our room cause we were exhaustedddd and it was 9.30pm. ... and the weather was looking ordinary. We decide to go and visit the Ala Moana Shopping mall. Think Westfield at Miranda or Parramatta but a bit bigger I think. To get there we take the trolley bus. Kind of like a petrol driven tram. It is about $2 to get on. It seems like everyone has the same idea and we have a bit of a wait. Once on, the trolley is full. The Big Island 2

Overnight the ship had moved around to the other side of the Big Island and anchored off Kona. Kona is a tourist town designed for shopping. The main street from the harbour is lined with low level and 'quaint' shopping arcades, all selling the same goods as the shops in Waikiki. Judging by the number of empty shops, business is not good.

... hotel room. Reception was lukewarm, but I'm sure my crying daughter didn't help much. The hotel lobby is very airy, open, and pretty. The concierges were all very friendly. Their pool is ok, and the one time I swam in it, the water was way too warm for me. If I could sneak a dip at the pool at The Modern, that would've been money.

Our room was at the top floor. It's huge! I wish they designed and structured the furniture better to get the most out of the space. At ...
