      ... chocolate milk). But on that lot was a Dodge Stratus R/T which looked pretty nice, and was cheap. I saw no problems with it and it drove well...until we got it to a mechanic, who found the transmission fluid stick (it was hard to find, ok?!), with a lovely coating of black transmission fluid. This car was going to cost an extra $3k to fix, thus my bad luck really was continuing.

      The weekend was lost. Well not totally, we did find a very nice VW GTI at a dealer in Queens ...

      ... week we discovered that a clock and a hair dryer which was supposed to come with the apartment were missing. Our bedroom was in total darkness so without an alarm clock we had no idea what time of day it was.
