    ... home, with water tanks and a chicken coop (yes, filled with live chickens) strapped to the roof. Our hostel is an old style house, soft wooden floors, a multi-coloured kitchen, a strange loft added up top, and whose dirt backyard it packed with bicycles and tents. Its picket fence is a painted rainbow, and it’s house number is spelt out with cds. I am in love with this town already.

    ... to Linda and the various pets and were on the road. It had been a lovely two days with convivial company, good food and friendship renewed. Looking forward to returning the hospitality when they come to Adelaide.

    ... where old hippies come to die. Can't verify that statement but over the years of visiting this lovely state we have sure seen a lot of older folk wearing tie dyed "T" shirts, granny dresses and wearing their hair in long gray pony tails! I can say that my brother in law fit the bill to the "T" when he lived just north of Portland, working in Oregon and living in Washington State - not so much now that he lives in Idaho.

    ... the complimentary breakfast, as provided by the resort owners, and it was mighty fine. We each had blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages/bacon and coffee. A perfect start to the day.
