Another long day of driving on twisty roads through the High Atlas Mountains brought us to the small village of Imlil. Once again on top of a mountain
... to which my room mate (Lisa) replied and said: "The toilets downstairs". We also played some new games which were introduced to us by Lisa and Jonathan (a tall guy from Oxford shire) who has been on many adventures, including one in Greenland, whereby he was transporting a lot of human waste back to the UK. I am still not sure what the purpose of that "scientific" exertion was other than bringing your own **** back to your own country!

High ideals in the High Atlas
... and view this rock with more time. This huge rock sits above a hamlet and the marabout (a saint's mausoleum) of Sidi Chanharouch. It's thought it may be a pre-Islamic structure (2,310m) but the marabout is definitely a Muslim pilgrimmage site. The number of pilgrims and trekkers has lead to the foundation of a hamlet here, which looks quite incredible from afar and close!

African Trekking
... us and the temperature dropped. After thanking them it was back to the tent to rest, only to be asked later on to come back where they gave us the extra left overs that they had made for the tour group for dinner. It helped as we only had a bread roll with tuna for dinner.
It was definitely a cool experience and they were all so nice.
The night was pretty horrible for both of us. We got limited sleep as we didn't have any mattresses so we were sleeping on a semi ...
