We woke up and had breakfast at 8am. We went to Henri and Stefans for the mtg which was translated into English for us by Fiona.

After the mtg, we sorted out the animals. We took the horses up to the paddock and the goats. We then had lunch - pork ribs, salad and rice, courgettes and carrots. After lunch we had a short rest and lie in the sun ...

... and statues. Colmar is the home of Bertholdi who designed the Statue of Liberty. Coming back to the ship we drove through a very large vineyard area as this is a major wine center. Tonight is the captains welcome dinner.

... depths of as much as 100 feet. I lost about twenty five pounds during that time, mostly due to catching hepatitis in Egypt, but the exercise helped. Our days were filled with stories we would tell each other, even when we were all present at the time they happened. We had lots to talk about because we did a lot of exciting things. Moving from the slow life of France to the excitement of the Alps and beyond will have the same affect on us, I think.
