Final transition and she was looking good. She had a pretty good run but does prefer the full marathon. Her final place was 19 out of 138 for her age group. Her final time was 4.56 hours just 20 minutes behind the winner of her age group. Overall in the half marathon she ran the third best time in her age group.
She has pulled up pretty well and is pretty excited about competing in the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona in a few weeks ...

... Nicole's friend from the international airport. They left at 4.15pm. It is about a 1.5 to 2 hour trip depending on traffic. Noel tried to convince me to come but after the trip from the airport to here I thought it would be better for Noel to share this special time with Nicole. I was quite happy to stay in our apartment, prepare dinner, read the paper, watch a bit of TV and have a nice glass of wine.

We took Le Cabriolet from the bottom of the village to the top of the village which is where our hotel is located. Le Cabriolet is an open style gondola. It runs all day and is free. You actually stand up in it. It feels a bit weird the first time you go in it.
