    Passed through locks 4 - 9 plus many swnig bridges today in the pouring rain, but we were without any traumatic incident. We traveled with the Carrie Rose and the September which was a pleasure. We are enjoying a quiet afternoon with the wifi connection and a Vermont NPR station while on the wall at Saint Jean.

    We have done a bit more travelling recently but one thing is for sure one does not have to venture far from home to have a fun filled weekend. Our wine tour and anniversary get-away was loads of fun and only an hour away from home. It was nice to experience well paired food and wine from the local region.     Following breakfast we headed to the pool. The hotel has facilities for all, there is a heated indoor pool, and two hot tubs as well as a Nordic bath that is ice cold.
