Eventually, gone 1 in the morning we wearily rolled into Pontivy. The hostel felt like a five star hotel and we very quickly fell asleep.
It was the hardest dqy of cycling either of us had ever done and we have learnt not to plan a long first day again. That is if we ever decide to go on a second cycle tour.

Decided to stay in the end. We did, however, manage a ride into the village. So stats are average sped was 15kmh, time spent cycling was 30 mins and distance covered was 7km.
