Belgium is a favourite so far! The town is beautiful - feels like we're in a storybook. Poppies are everywhere. There is evidence all over town of John McCrae's poem. Today we had a few hours of free time so Josh and I took in the Flander's Field Museum and sought out some Belgian chocolate - so good! ... but the only aspect I didn't like was how touristy the city was. The city had a great vibe, but it wasn't a native vibe. I saw many international travelers and heard many languages. Many of these I could tell were tourists and I was a little disappointed because it didn't feel as real or functioning.

... would have been a lot better in the evening when it is all lit up but they aren’t available. The boat trip made us a little peckish so we found one of Brugge’s many parks and sat down for some lunch before returning back to the camper for a short while.
