... slow motion and nothing you can do to help. There are these poles in the middle of the trail to prevent cars from driving on the trails and someone ran smack into it and flipped over the bike. She ended up being fine other than a cut chin and a big fright. Glad I brought the spray I was given to for my knee so I can be of a bit of help. She was a trooper and got back on and we continued the ride. Had nice conversation with fellow bikers as we traveled through this nice town. ...

I quickly went into the church for a look around and it was very strange to me in one on ...

My last day in Brugge- wait I think I am having deja vu! I've already left Brugge once before on this trip.... But alas, it was time for me to continue on with my travels and go back to London. I wanted to go back since when I was there in October I was only there for one day and I didn't see anything since I was catching up with some friends I hadn't seen in 4 years.
The day started out with me needing to pack (yes I now leave this to the last minute), and I was lucky enough to be able ...

... you looked it was beautiful especially with the night lights. The window displays were magnificent with chocolates & lace a big attraction.
Back to Elodie for a well deserved good nights sleep. Another great day & a day that saw the riding finished - Grant worked out that he'd ridden 508km and I rode 462 kms - not bad!!

Dinner: Salad nicoise; duck with sauerkraut & roast potatoes; creme ...
