... at least she said there was a mosquito there! But I think this battle the mosquitoes won. It's a shame as the park is really nice, but the constant harassment of the bugs detracted from the experience. Somehow we persevered and walked to the top of one of the mounts (but not the full hike we had planned). The constant swatting meant we weren't taking in our surroundings fully. Up early. Lots of action in the Village. Nicole was in the 13th Wave to take off. Her number is 1822. Her swim time was 35.05 minutes and she was 11.06 minutes behind the winner. She was placed at 79th.

She had a slight fall at the bike transition. Luckily another athlete caught her before she hit the ground. On to the bike and she was off. Her bike time was pretty good at 2.41 hours and she was now placed at 43 but was 15.01 minutes behind the ...

... as I am looking at the entrance and he has already gone through ( he tells me later) . I head back to the room for a bit and then back to the race action. The pros are coming in to transition so I head for the VIP stand and end up sitting behind the commentator ... Have a selfie with them and head off with Ty and Justine to try and catch the bike action. We see Royce whizz by , we yell with all our might bout I don't think he saw us again ! ...

Slow start this morning. Laundry duties! Very exciting! Nicole did a bike ride and a run. We headed out just before lunch. We drove to what they call old Mont Tremblant. It was where they first had lodges and restaurants. It was quite interesting but no where near as pretty as Mont Tremblant Village.

We then went back to our room to meet Nicole. We then all headed down to the IRONMAN Village so that she could rack her bike. The bike area is now half full. It ...
