... is very smooth, with little shaking not like the ancient trains in Canada that go so slow and tremble so much I could never work on my laptop while going to Montreal or Toronto. From the hotel I took a very nice bus (#91) to the Montparnasse railway station. My first trip by bus in Paris. And I still have to do my first in Ottawa - there for almost 40 years and did not do it! La vie... Biarritz railway station in the rain... Going up hill encountering school ...

Last day in Paris and Pascals offer to drive us to Montparnasse has to be withdrawn as the tractors of the farmers will be blockading the streets. Finally after chats etc. drifted to train..still tired from weekend. Managed a nice lunch at our lovely restaurant after the fact finding mission around Gare dEst and Gare du readiness to catch the plane back toSweden as we will be arriving at GaredEst and need to catch the train from GdN. ... s Mitton, Richard and Ollie, Ben and I, then finally back to Marshall V's Mitton, all good fun and we even play through a small rain shower, but after two hours we are done and head back. The courts are though really poor and we are pleased that we just turned up rather than pay for this. Our first day in Centre Parcs and we start with a trip down to the centre to get some bread for our breakfast and also queue up at ten desk to book some activities, after our breakfast, Ollie and I go off to play squash for an hour, Ollie plays really well and we enjoy ourselves.
