... barn for the cows from my friends farm. Growing up we would show calves in the 4 H club. Great memories! I remember sleeping at the fair and settling down between a few cows to keep warm. May not sound like fun to some people. But this was such a great time for us! I did show a cow in a couple of classes (photos included) On Sunday there is a huge parade which we were to be a part of. It was hot as we lined up and waited to lead our cows in front ...

In the 10 or 15 minutes it took us to get there, the sun came out and it was great. At least until we all ate.. Then the rain came back. No problem as there were big canvas tents set up.The weather, regardless of the sky, was still humid the ...

    Another day of skiing!

A travel blog entry by matt-hryniewicz on Mar 01, 2015

Went skiing with the Reidy's and their cousins. Jay Peak is definitely a must on a skiers list. Some sweet glade skiing for novices. Packed powder. 25 degrees. Barely a breeze. A couple of quads and a tram bought you to the top. Sitting on the Canadian border in northern Vermont, it's quite remote making for small lift lines. It was a four hour ride but the ride back was a bit more interesting with the impending ...
