    ... in a galldern hurryBut many cons;

    • You get where you are going in a galldern hurry
    • You have to focus so ******* the road there is no sight seeing
    • They are typically boringly straight
    • Competition is fierce
    • You gotta keep the hammer down all the time
    • Nebraska Interstates are pre cast concrete so there is an expansion bump every 30' or so, gets tiring in a hurry

    ... to 2014. We caught the travel bug again and decided to hit the road. This time heading West. The Pace Arrow was replaced with another Fleetwood Bounder 37' with two slides, and we down sized to just one Pomeranian, Foxy. We are on the first leg of our five year plan (or for as long as we can handle being on the road).     ... visited this place in 1966 and was anxious to see it again, to see how it had changed in 50 years. And changed it has. For one thing, they now provide a home for as many girls as boys. And for another, these kids no longer live in dormitories, but rather in family homes on campus. Each home houses 6-8 kids and is run by a family, the parents trained in counseling and providing a solid family living experience. We saw many of these kids on campus doing chores, ...

    ... for a couple of nights, like us. We get the fancy, suite-style dorms...one living room/kitchen/bathroom for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms. Other than the fact that the beds were really uncomfortable and were 2 twin beds, the accommodations actually weren't bad, especially since there were just in 2 of us in our suite.We got free meals in the campus cafeteria. Food was ok. Nothing to get excited ...
