Two sea days 14&15 May and the evening Victoria on Saturday, 16 May, 2015
Some rougher waves on the way to Canada, but sightings of whales were numerous and quite a thrill! It is probably one of the hardest things to do in my life is to pack for 5 weeks in 8 different countries in one suitcase with room for souvenirs. The only pillow I can actually fall asleep on I can't fit in, I can't take a blanket for the plane and the hardest 3 things of all I can't take my dog, Ricky; my computer or my books.

... and "whipped" potatoes (that's just mashed potato - maybe they use a whisk?). With a glass of Chenin Blanc and a Lighthouse Pale Ale. I don't know how many 10k runs I need to do when I get home, but I'm pretty sure a couple ain't gonna cut it. ... beautiful city called Victoria - superb heritage buildings with seaplanes buzzing in and out of the harbour. Unfortunately my whale watching tour was cancelled, but in hindsight that was a good thing as the next group saw zot all - not a sausage. It gave me time to wander around the city exploring and I went and saw the exhibit on the Vikings and the first nation people at the museum - pretty cool.
