... itinerary would normally cost about $4,000 - 6,000 for each of us. And you do pay annual fees for credit cards - we cancelled the SPG after using as the Marriott seems to be the better hotel option. But my guess is we saved over $3,000 on hotels this way.

So did we "save" around $18,000 on this trip - not really but I reckon we got about that much worth of "free" or "free-ish" stuff.

... around the small food court that is set up for travelers. Before long we were pulling onto the boat and parking in the strange aquatic parking garage.

We wandered topside on the massive boat and explored the ship before our one and half hour journey to Vancouver Island. Caught up with Darryl he was taking Lucy for a walk she is slowly getting used to us (good guard dog). Darryl gave us written directions for catching the bus to Victoria for our sightseeing day.
