We are in the village of Canneto on Lipari in the Aeolian Islands. It is a picture perfect little fishing town by the sea centered by the Catholic Church with a few bars and trattoria. ... toes on the rocks. The water is salty - saltier than at home - and hence quite buoyant. This makes swimming easier and I swam out and around some buoys a few times. B and F stayed in for a couple of hours straight. F spurned his floaties and spent most of his time underwater, while B grabbed his floaties and bobbed on the surface. The fish market was going off again this morning. perhaps even busier than Saturday morning when we arrived. I didn't get ...
