New Year 2008 Marion Keith Ellie and Jack came down for New Year Willie Kath and Ruan came up. July 9th Emma Sophie And Daniel The kids came on the train on the Wednesday after we came back form Greece. We arranged to go to London for the day on the following Monday, it was a great day weather wise, couldn't have been better. We went on the London Eye. We all enjoyed that it was very good. We walked along the embankment down to Tower Bridge. Last night was Ian Holoway's annual BBQ for friends and family. They have it jointly with Martin Green as it is both their wives birthdays around the same time. We have been for several years now always turning out to be a good night despite the weather, which last night was awful. They go to a lot of trouble for it putting up not just gazebos but a marquee! On the 2nd January we were just chilling out during the day, Ruan was on good form playing football with grandpa the goal post being under the brown chair! Grandpa was the goal keeper! When he scored a goal the arms went up in the air and he shouted GOAL. He played for ages doing that. On the 3rd we went round to Pat's for a drink with Anna and Duncan before they went back to work. Hi there , well we had another good night out. We were invited to the Longhanbourgh disco! Philip was the D.J. It was Gail and Steve who organised it , they do it each year, it is the alternative new years eve! We went with Karen Pat and Tony. As you will see by the pic's we had a good time.
