      ... with the weather as it started closing in while we were up at the summit and then it became completely obscured, so we drove back down and had a foggy picnic at 7,000 feet. We did see the exotic silverswords - cactus like plants that only grow on the volcano. They were just exquisite.

      Day 6 here ...and we've learned a few things:

      1. Waking up in the van is awesome.
      2. It takes exponentially longer to charge a cell phone with a car charger than in the wall.
      3. Ham and Cheese sandwiches are much easier to make in a moving car than PB & J.
      4. Portland is great.

      ... and sold us tickets. The lounge/bar area was something from a different era all together. Love seats and chaise longues were tucked into cosy corners. Velvet curtains, crystal chandeliers and antiques added to the effect. The popcorn was served in champagne coolers, and drinks were brought to our seats at well-planned intervals during the film. It was brilliant!
