    Merry Christmas and a happy new year and all of that!

    I have attached photos from our time in Whistler at Christmas which includes a trip to the Scandinave Spa. It was the best Christmas ever!

    I have also attached photos of our trip to Seattle and Hurricane Ridge for our wedding anniversary.

    ... from pretty much any general retailer like Fred Meyer or Walmart or whatever and then you just stick 'em on and go??? Leaving things to the last moment as always meant that there was no one at the 'Post Office' when I got there because it's Columbus Day apparently, and everyone leaves early on Columbus day. Who knew? Needless to day, I haven't sent the things I wanted to send, and I've left that in the capable hands of my good friend. (I couldn't have squeezed any more things ...

    ... and we had planned to go to Mount St Helens; a volcano which, had erupted in the late 1980's. It was interesting to see the before and after pictures and the trees on the mountain were still black, even after 30 years. The boiling water and lava had burnt the ground leaving winding valleys and a vast expanse of space. One could see for miles due to the eruption burning all the trees which, previously, would have blocked the view. The hike felt extremely good after a weekend ...

    All in all, it was a memorable trip. It made it even more special because we got to share it with our good Wisconsin friends, Stan and Cindy Jaskolski, and I thank them for trusting us to take them on this exotic trip.
