... to just laugh and laugh and laugh as we ate and ate and ate around the table for what seemed like hours!

Kathleen and Seamus tried to convince us to stay another night, but we had school work to catch up on and Megan's friend is coming to Cork tomorrow so we had to get back. They even let us take our jumpers back to Cork for a few more weeks! It was such a great weekend getting to experience an Irish household!

They had the cells in the central block open with models of certain prisoners and the audio tour told their stories so was worth listening to, they were imprisoned for nothing much in the old days. There was an outer wall, a big grassy area (not really a moat) then the prison itself, and on the outer gatehouse building there are three stopped-up holes above the main door which used to have the gibbets for hanging prisoners.

I have been in Cork for almost two weeks now, and I have loved every minute of it. We first arrived on Sunday, January 2nd and it was a whirlwind!

The flight from Boston to Dublin seemed to fly by! I watched Killer which was really good then I just listened to my iPod. I didn't sleep at all but it felt like in no time we were landing. The bus from Dublin to Cork seemed longer ...

And all days, apparently, people want to walk in the middle of the road.
