... of the video systems we work with, and than out to my camera. It was great catching up with them. After showing them around a bit, we had a really nice conversation. It made my day to see a familiar face and I am sure it was thrilling for them as well. I was able to capture that kid on Christmas look that i had gotten with my cousin towards the beginning of the tour again with them. It was amazing to observe.

We finally make it down to the forest and find him but three trolls throw all of the dwarves into sacks. Gandalf returns and tricks the trolls into staying out past down and they turn to stone becuase trolls must be underground during the day. Bilbo and Gandalf finally free us. Bilbo explains that what happend was he found the dwarves around a fire and roasting mutton and complaining of no men to eat. Bilbo says he was trying to do his job ...

Left Springfield this morning and took the original 1926-1930 Route 66 which was based on Illinois Route 4. This branch of Route 66 has been returned to the original Illinois Route 4 designation. The road zig-zagged it's way through Chatham, Auburn and Thayer, one of the turns having a brick road. I stopped of in Virden which has a lovely town square where I saw the monument to the coal miners involved in a bloody dispute with the mine ...
