We had the opportunity and time to make a stop into Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as we are beginning our journey up north before we begin heading back to Colorado.

... Ranger told us that after the battle, both sides tried to deal with their dead by burying, mostly in shallow graves. The heavy rains and shear numbers made this a difficult task.
