... Gettysburg was another private museum that had lots of cool stuff. Not all was related to the civil war, they had several displays about the world wars, various presidents, and people. There were artifacts from Hitler's Eagle's Nest that were interesting.
We snapped a few pictures, they don't really show the vastness of the displays. They had Marilyn Monroe's white lacy Bra. Off course had to get a snap of that. For the ones interested, 36C. ...

I have never visited the Finger Lakes area, though I have heard the name pop up at various points in my lifetime. So, with a few extra bucks earned from mowing the lawn for a neighbor (yes, kids, even we old guys will mow lawns for a few extra bucks!), I thought I'd dust off the camera, hop on the motorcycle, and spend a couple days on the road.

... is raised he was injured and two means he was killed! We saw the diorama and toured a little bit of the museum, there is still a LOT we did not see! We are going to the Devil's Den and Picketts Charge later tonight when it cools off! Tomorrow we are gonna get up early and bike some before it hits 90* F ...

... the rainbow of fall hues. We talk about our dreams, aspirations and struggles. Tim is very skilled and knowledgeable in many aspects of recording, performing and songwriting, and being around him inspires me to think of what I need to do to take my music to the next level...
... Not that wandering around the world playing music on park benches isn't inspiring enough...
Finally we reach Shippensburg Rd where we parked the car, and call it a day.

... our tour walked to them. That is something to do in the summer time. Once we got done with that and back the visitor center, we were hungry so went to find someplace to eat. We ended up in old town Gettysburg which was really pretty and a lot of pretty old houses and buildings there. By the time we finished eating dinner it was dark so too late to do the battlefield tour so we headed back to Harrisburg to drop the car ...
