The long day of driving included several encounters with slowed traffic and construction. We finally arrived in Gettysburg. We decided to drive through town to see what eating establishments were still open - trying to avoid the quick burger & fries menu. We ended up in the park and decided to go see the Eternal Flame. We'll be visiting the site again tomorrow, but wanted to get some pictures of the flame in the twilight / dusk. ...

After months of planning and waiting to take this trip the day has finally arrived! I've been able to whittle down the clothes I need to take into a qualifying size carry-on bag. ... an awesome day.
Also took in a Diorama light and sound show of the Battle of Gettysburg. Largest Diorama in America. All figurines, etc, were hand made and painted. Spectacular.
Trip to the Chiropractor for Wendy, with bad back. Brand new within a couple of days.
Happy birthdays this month to Justine, Taryn and Dianne.
