We leave the Econo Lodge in Wilkes Barre around 9am and start making our ride north on route 6 which is the scenic route. It is a beautiful sunny day today and we are both really enjoying the ride.

Our first stop is the Pocono Mountains and the scenery is beautiful. We opt for scenic byways which are always curvy and fun rather than the interstate highways as they can be and straight ...

This is certainly not my first rodeo. I have been to a variety of places, with all types of people, groups, and agendas, but this is certainly going to be an interesting adventure. Wellsboro is a unique rural town off of Route 287 and Route 6. It brings back memories of the small town atmosphere from the 1950's and 1960's. City is well kept and a variety of eateries to suite your taste. Trees line downtown and there is still that old style movie theater.

Many great attractions with Pine Creek Trail nearby and the PA Grand Canyon. They have a nice Wellsboro Diner, The Steak House, and much more.

Many of us dream of visiting the great Grand Canyon of the West. When you are 2,000 miles away from this national and historic site the next best site is in Tioga County in Pennsylvania where the glaciers 10,000 years ago left a captivating landscape of forest, valleys, and water streams. This area is best known as the PA Grand Canyon of the East. The beautiful forestry is no doubt why it was the ...

... Path trail, which is a 2 miles round trip and is a difficult trail. It descends one mile to the bottom of the Pine Creek Gorge. It was definitely pretty steep in areas, but we enjoyed the good workout. There were some great waterfalls along the trail. It was pretty easy to get to the bottom, but a good workout to get back up to the top. We were able to take Nash with us too so that was a nice little bonus for him. He ...
