Victoria really is the city of flowers. There are over 2000 hanging flower baskets. Two trucks circle the city between 2:00 and 5:00AM watering all the baskets. Besides the hanging flower pots, there are gardens everywhere but none as spectacular as the Butchard Gardens. The Butchard family made their money producing Portland cement. ... I ended up getting out 2nd last so went to have a nap and ended up sleeping for the next four hours!! I felt bad but was so tired!! The next day mom and I headed to the mall and had coffee and looked around was nice and then headed to her friend from high school Shelly's place .. Had another coffee and then headed home.. ... Ron had caught to take away with us and some hot chocolate that Nath really liked. They have lived and owned a fishing lodge in Northern Canada for the last 15 years.
