Another lovely sunny day and the gardens were very crowded, in the Gift Shop I even talked to another Australian lady who been dragged there by her friend she had never heard of them . She did come from Canberrra though.

Where else can you travel for 25 hours by car, 2 planes, 3 buses and a ferry and still be in Victoria? Well, actually, we are in Victoria Canada, though getting here was not without it's hassles for once.

Our flight to Sydney went without a hitch, but once in Sydney it all went a bit off the rails. Security pulled Mandy's hand luggage off for a second look, even though it was fine in Melbourne. Couldn't find anything of course, but they took objection to the copha ...

... into our camping site. What a Job to get into that site. We had to go out to find some groceries and it was 7:00 until we finally got back to eat supper. A super long day.
On January 4th we left Washington heading for Eugene Oregon. It was a frosty morning but eventually found the sunshine. We stopped in Portland to get our internet which is fantastic. We arrived in Eugene around 3:00 and relaxed off the rest of the evening. Super nice RV park, very nice people.

... over 50 detailed models of everything from futuristic space stations to a massive historical diorama of Canada from east to west coast, following the CPR line. Huge doll houses, scenes from famous novels, specifically Dickens, and historical battle scenes, to the huge travelling circuses of yesteryear.
