Had an interesting trip to Gettysburg. After scoping out the local campground we made our way into the town center to see where things were located. We parked on the street next to a shop called Subterranean Soul. Its a shop selling various clothing, vinyl records, and various trinkets.
The owner was present and he reflected his past travels and people he knew who had a bus. He attended Woodstock which made for some interesting stories. ...

... we have been warned to expect up to five inches of rain. Oh well what can I do, nothing other that stay put��.

off to Washington for a couple of days tomorrow, with a bit of luck should be my turn in the front seat. After getting over my malaise I have really got back into it the last couple of days and loving it all, such beautiful country Canada and America, just love it, don't want it to end.

... fat in it'. I think he said I could have 10% milk. Full cream milk is called 'cream' but is not pouring cream like ours. Strange people. Have to ask for cappuccino or get filter coffee and creamer, which isn't even a dairy product. Muffin was good though. All on bus nice and early and had to go to Duty Free to pick up peoples purchases before crossing boarder. Poms all bought alcohol. Not worth carrying around, would get broken. They ...

... Russ to dinner at the Great American Saloon in Red Lion. It was like stepping back to the 1960s. Many booths and mirrors. The walls were decorated with mounted head of deer, and stuffed animals like black bears, coyotes, foxes, eagles and there were many American Indian artefacts. We had a lovely dinner, Peter had a sensational Filet Mignon and Linda had grilled chicken....... Shared some more wine with Russ back at the house. We enjoyed our stay ...

Up and at 'em and on the road by 7.30am, driving the short distance to the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Centre, where we ate breakfast before heading inside. Here the park is free but you pay a fee to enter the museum. After a small discussion on whether or not to fork out for the museum, we decided to go for it and were glad we did.
