... ready and read outside in the warmth of the sun :). Then we began our day with a bike ride - followed some of the route we did on the trolley yesterday. We stopped at an old Fort that never was completed - now it's a garden! Again we ended up downtown. Went to Mallory square by the water to watch the sunset. Lots of street entertainers performing here too. Afterward we went home to change into warmer clothes. Then we caught the hotel shuttle to take us back downtown. We ate on a ...

... straight to a pharmacy and got more drugs for Justin. Then, we walked around for ages. We saw the southernmost point in the United States but there were people queuing to take a photo in front of it. We saw the outside of Hemingway's House but didn't pay to go inside. There were cute little weatherboard houses everywhere, and plenty of inns and B&Bs.

Today we are heading west to the land of Jimmy Buffett and margaritas. The day started with thunder and lightning. As we headed west we came across lots of rain and wind but by the time we made it to Key West it was down to a mist. We scored a nicemetered parking spot in front of the Truman Summer White House. They predicted a 60% chance of rain for the day but we decided to take our chances. The weather turned out to be fine. It was ...

... you really want to go with a firm providing you with outdoor activities named "Danger"? We chose their “full day” Sail, Snorkel & Kayak Day Trip”. The excursion features guided kayaking through wonderfully enigmatic mangrove islands, snorkeling on pristine and uncharted patch reefs and wrecks, and, of course, sailing! As I watched the fully loaded day tour leave at 9:30AM, I felt the era of our private tour at ...

... a light meal. Dan ordered conch fritters and I ordered a crab salad. Pretty good, but the restaurant was deserted. Very odd.

Walked on down Duval and stopped at Walgreens to buy tatami beach mats. They're only $1.99 each, so we don't feel bad leaving them in the car. We started walking back toward our hotel. Stopped one more time at a front porch bar called the Speakeasy for an after dinner drink. Back to the hotel and off to bed.
