... 40 minutes, then we were just a 5 minute walk to our apartment. Reception didn't open until 9am, so we chilled out in a local cafe.

Check in wasn't until 2pm, but they cleaned our room and they let us into the room at 11.30am. It's amazing, with the most stunning view of the harbour. Massive bed, beautiful bathroom...we can even flush loo paper down the toilet :-)

People say they don't like Auckland but we are loving it.

... the massive cost of parking in the city. He had tickets as well so we would have someone to go with. The car park wasn’t the best place to sleep though as there were no toilets and we couldn’t do a wildy for hygiene reasons as well as our sleep being interrupted by people coming and going in their vehicles.
